I bought a couple of these puppies @ 11.000 each: <http://online.century.co.jp/BittradeTest/e_shop/chb25int.html> And topped them with 30GB Tstars (they can handle up to 32GB BTW.) Shipping to the USA was quite reasonable BTW, ~$12 IIRC. Best source for adapters is eBay, look for an Apple/ADTX/IBM 1 gigger. Those can handle drives up to 8GB, more than enough for most any PB500 (or 1xx even! :-) Be aware the ADTX doesn't fit quite perfectly (screws in awkward spots) under later drives with the wider-spaced mount holes, but it's not a problem a dedicated hacker can't work around. Whatever adapter one acquires, you'll need a 12.5mm thin mechanism, though it's not a problem as all modern drives conform to that spec. hth, Dan K ................................. http://macdan.n3.net/ carracho://dankephoto.dhs.org:9700 hotline://dankephoto.dhs.org:9500 ................................. -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
