Is there such a thing as an HDI-30 to DB25 cable? I just received an HDI-30 SCSI system cable, part # M2538, just as listed in the User's Manual, and it's HDI-30 to Centronics 50. It's working for me at the moment, as I have the cable running through a centronics50 passthrough terminator into a LaCie CD-R with centronics50 ports, then using a centronics50 to DB25 to my zip drive. However the CD-R is too big and clunky to travel with, so I need another option--preferably cheaper than the insertable zip drive module.
If I can find an HDI-30 to DB25, do I then need a DB25 passthrough terminator going into my zip to terminate the front end of the chain and then use the zip's own termination power to do the final termination? -- peace, love, and joy, Samantha -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
