http://www.mcpb.com/html/pbhdi2.html shows the adapters and cables which attach via a standard SCSI cable to the other devices. (available in 25 and 50 pin versionsThe termination at the MB end is handled by the MB, so only the last device on the chain requires termination. If you want to also allow your 1400 to connect to another Mac via SCSI cable and be recognized as an external hard drive, you need the Adapter or Cable w/ Dockswitch. For simple SCSI chain connection, use just the Adapter or Cable.
