I have three cards (usb, firewire, wifi) which each seem to work agreeably singularly
through out a given session cycle. That is, that if they were in the computer and
opperational when it shut down and no one disturbs the it, it will reawaken at startup
and be normal. The curiosity is that when both slots are full this is not true. If at
shutdown, both slots were loaded when the next start up takes place it is quite likely
that neither card will awaken. Through experimentation, I have discovered that if you
wait for the memory check to be over and just at the moment the screen begins to lite
up, you can shove the wifi card into either the upper or lower slot until it locks
into place, watch for its lite to come on, and only then (still before the smiley Mac
face appears) shove and lock either the usb or firewire card into place). Position
doesn't seem to matter but timeing does. Admittedly I am new to this CardBus stuff but
this does not seem right to me. Does anybody have any light to shed on this behavior?
