I need some help. Do g3 powerbooks come with a speed of 1ghz and 512 mb ram?
There are a few for sale on eBay and they are about 6 lbs, suggesting to me a
pismo or lombard. Is this standard or are they tweaked? What is the story?

If it's a G3 then it's not running at 1ghz. Or the opposite: if it's running at 1ghz it has to be a G4.
512 RAM is possible in everything from the Wallstreet and up.
