I've done this, too.

You will get only 8 GB with an ADTX controller.

Plus, 10 B drives usually have the "new" bolt pattern, whereas the ADTX 
was designed for the "old" bot pattern.

It is usually possible to "reverse" the barackets and to accommodate a 
"new" type drive, but often you can only accommodate three screws, not 
the usual four. And, sometimes you may have to place an insulator under 
part of the bracket.

With "reversed" brackets on "new" type drives, each drive is potentially 
a unique case.
