Hello Heather,
Just a thought: presuming that you are connecting your external SCSI CD
drive via an HD-30 adapter, do you know for sure that this adapter is
known-to-be-good? Also, on the back of the CD drive itself, the following
pins should be jumpered:
"Parity" - "Term Power" - and 0 and 1 (totalling "3" in binary for your SCSI
ID; but you knew that ;-)
sometimes I have had trouble with a CD drive only to discover that the term
power jumper simply fell off - it's just a thought.
