Hello,

Please help me I cannot access the following webpage : www.irs.gov/

I am using a powerbook 3400c running internet explorer 5.1 and OS 8.6.

For some reason I cannot load the home page of the internal revenue service
on my browser. On my Win 95 machine the page loads so I guess it isnt my
"older" browser version that's the problem.

Any ideas. Thanks in advance.

By the way my iMac running OS 9.2.2 has the same problem.

That's odd...the IRS' web site has always been a well behaved one.

I just got to it no problem (OSX/Mozilla) I'll check with my 5300 when I get into work.

Are you using the same browser on both Macs?

Have you tried dropping down the security level a bit?

Have you deleted the temporary internet files?

(I believe that's what they're called, I avoid IE like the plague that it is)
