I agree that my knowledge differs, that's why I included the links with my
reply. While I have owned a 3400 in the past, I never tried to use USB with
it. As such my knowledge isn't firsthand in regards to USB.

I've always found it strange that some people can use USB cards and others
can't. I also find it strange that there's a vendor out there selling the
cardbus upgrade as well as folks posting instructions on DIY conversions.

It seems like there's a lot of contradictory info out there, but you
certainly can't dispute first hand knowledge.
