v 1.1 works like a champ on my 1400 w/44 MB real RAM (Ram Doubled to 88 
MB). Depending how much RAM you have on the 1400, you might want to run 
OS 8.6 instead. There is a patch on the net which will let iTunes 1.1 run 
under 8.6. You can search the archives of this list for more info.
