The 3400 will run X too, at least up to 10.1.5, but the support for sleep and for PC Cards is shaky, not to mention that you can time the screen redraws with a sundial. I thought it was only _some_ of the Kangas that had the correct card cage. MCE offers the Cardbus upgrade service for the Kanga as well as the 2400 and 3400. To be honest though, I never saw the point. I bought a generic USB card, installed hacked USB Support 1.4.1, trimmed the sides of the card to make it fit, and had a USB-enabled 3400c/240. > Hmm, > though come to think of it, the Wallstreet seems to share alot of > 3400/Kanga features . . . :-) Well yes, but a WallStreet comes with much better video, supports OS X up to 10.2 without any hacks and is capable of (unofficially) taking a lot more RAM. It's always seemed like a very different animal to me, although I wouldn't trade a Kanga or even a 3400c/240 for one of those cacheless Road Apple versions. -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
