Yep, I used to take apart my 150 to get to the trackball every couple of months.  The 
three cylinders that touched the track ball would get lint and sundry smuck-muck on 
it.  A pencil eraser and a paperclip end would usually do the trick in a couple of 
minutes.

So I'd recommend taking the box apart, if that sort of thing doesn't frighten you.
