I have a 3400c/180/144 RAM and I'm using 9.1 on it. I
tried 8.5 on it but the cd that I had the 8.6 upgrade
burned on had a disk error so I couldn't try 8.6 and I
remembered all the problems I used to have with 8.5 so
I promptly popped my 9 install disk in and then went
to 9.1 on one partition and 9.2.1 on another. I can't
really tell the difference between 9.1 and 8.5. I
ended up getting rid of the 9.2.1 since AIM crashed
constantly on it and iTunes 2 couldn't find the
document folder so wouldn't start up when I was
running from my 9.2.1 partition.

So now I've been on 9.1 exclusively for a couple weeks
now and the only thing I've noticed is sometimes it
crashes when I tell it to shut down and I have to push
that little rectangular button on the back to get it
to shut down, other than that no problems.
