A few weeks ago I got a 180c at auction. Soon after I noticed the
date & time would change literally before my eyes at the click of a
mouse button. I tried deleting the d/t pref file, a few other pref
files, rebuilding the desktop, & zapping the pram among other things.
All to no avail.

Later I exchanged ram (& probably some floppies) with my PB 160,
which then bagan to show the same symptoms (it had also been
unplugged for a few days just before).

Tonite I put the hd from the 180c into a 180, initialized it,
installed new disk drivers, and a new os. Whaddya know, when all was
done the clock on the 180 now does the same thing.

Does all this sound like a case of pram batteries going bad at once,
some sort of virus in the root of the hd, or what? I am at my wits
end trying to figure out what's going on. Thanks for any info.
