We have a PB5300C and a PowerPC Upgraded 500 series.
Both connect easily to our external CD (which is an Apple,by the way)
We use the Apple specific lead for the connection from the square back
terminal in the books to the SCSI terminal on the CD player. The second
socket on the CD player ihas a terminator on it and the SCSI ID is set to 5.
It doesnt work with the L -shaped SCSIlead we use to connect it to our
desktop Mac
