Re(2): PB1400 Questions

One more thing... I tried to test the voltage coming out of the Duo 
adaptor last night before I plugged it in and let it sit over night. I 
couldn't get a reading on the volt meter, with the Duo adaptor, but it 
tested a 5300 adaptor just to be sure the meter worked, and that was 
fine... So, I tried setting the meter to XK under the Ohm setting like 
I would to do a self test. I connected one pole to the center of the 
adaptor (o) (in this case, the "o") and one to the center prong on the 
AC side. Nothing on the meter, so I tried the outer two prongs and 
still nothing. I tried again with the outside of the DC side (o) (the 
parenthesis, not the o in the ASCII representation), tried the prongs, 
and still nothing. Am I doing something wrong? The power adaptor works 
with a Duo 230, but that only leads me to believe that the adaptor 
could be putting out a bare minimum and thus having little to no effect 
on the 1400.... Possible?

My PB 1400 charger manual from VST Technologies advises leaving 
batteries in the charge on charge when not in use to ensure full 
charge.  The PB 1400 battery is 33 watt hours and my charger 2 .0 per 
hour which would indicate?? 15 hour charge.

A 15 hour charge is standard for my Energizer AA batteries used in a 
A4 Tech cordless mouse on the iMac, so may well require at least an 
overnight charge.
