I want U to know I didn't believe a WORD of this comment... as I RAN (not 
walked!) and replace the Duo 7783 adapter i had on my 1400c/183 with a proper 
one...!

Now, unfortunately, my sis and brother-in-law BOTH have Duo ac adapters on 
their 1400s, so now I gotta get those replaced!

Anyone know why this is the case? Does this happen whenever you use a 
lower-wattage ac adapter w/ a Powerbook? I thought the only drawback was slower 
recharge times, which I can certainly deal with...
