Just out of curiosity, where'd you find an adaptor for $10? Any idea if they have 'em that cheap for a 1400C?

I have a 5300C that I'm currently using (but I need the AC adaptor to upgrade to the 1400!), you can use wireless cards with it, like I do, or light email, typing and surfing. I'd load up on ram if you're gonna do anything somewhat intensive though. I thikn the limit is somewhere in the neighborhood of 48MB(?). Try the swap list if you need stuff like that. Connectix Speed-Doubler and RAM-Doubler help, but not a whole lot, I've found.

My biggest complaint is the weight and the lack of CD drive. I know the 1400 isn't much better, but it came to me with a G3 upgrade, though I don't think you can get them for a 5300.

All in all, they're a good machine if you don't do a whole lot other than typing and light internet stuff, but if you want to run more than one or two progs at a time, I'd say sell it and get a 1400 or better.

Just my $0.02

Peace,

Jason

adapter, is there a lot of things i could do with the pb??? Or is it not
worth the $10?

Thanks!
