If you already know for a fact that it works, then Yes, you'll get your
$10.00 worth. A good word processing and e-mail machine, with no backside
cache internet stuff would be slower than Congress. Slip the battery out and
look inside the bay. If you can see dates stamped on the metal, then this
machine has gone through Apple's refurbish program and has fewer chances of
future troubles. I have 2 of these things and have grown to love them. ^__^
