The floppy drive in many PowerBooks is a half-height version of the
tried-and-true Desktop floppy.

A 20-pin interface, of course.

Those PBs which support a plurality of plug-ins (floppy, CD, Zip,
battery, etcetera) use as many as three different physical interfaces:
floppy, battery, and everything else. The "everything else" interface is
pretty much EIDE plus power.
