Hi again, fellow listers!
First of all, sorry for the delay, but I'm on Digest mode.
Secondly: I've done everything that was suggested by all you helpful fellows with no positive results.
I've concluded that the mobo connector is somehow damaged, although I can't see any obvious damage.
Now what? It is very annoying to "force restart" the PB every time I have to change the CD. That's for music, because I use an external CD-ROM drive to install software.
Sugestions, anyone?

About the only thing you could try is desolder the connector and solder on another one.
