Listers,
Should the battery in my 280c charge while on a/c power? Also under 7.6.1 there is nothing on the control strip that lets me see any kind of battery level. Does that mean the battery is completely dead?
Does the control strip show anything related to power (an AC plug for example)? On my 280c under OS 8.1 I get the following displays:
No battery installed, AC Power AC Plug
Battery installed, AC Power Battery w/ charging symbol and
bar graph showing charge state
Battery installed, no AC Battery, bar graph, load meter and estimated time
Note that there is a triangle you can click on that lets you enable / disable the bar graph, load meter and estimated time.
The battery, battery charging and AC plug ICON is always there. I don't know off hand how if at all it differs in 7.6.1.
