Most, certainly more modern, Powerbook PSUs are only 35-45W. I'd say any 120W inverter is safe. If you are running anything bigger then go for a lot more peak capacity, maybe 200W running capacity to be safe.
It has worked great
so far. I used it to power a PM 8500 and a 13' tv w/ a dvd player on a car
trip. So it should power a laptop.
Hehe, that's kinda cool, although isn't the 8500 a bit lumpy for sticking in the car?
