As a Powerbook user for many years, and having gone through my share of
rechargeable batteries, I'm concerned about where to put those batteries
that are no longer of any use. I just found a non-profit service that
provides a drop-off program through many retailers. You might be

Positive point: If you're into recycling through a registered non-profit
agency, your donation is tax-deductible (in US). That alone makes it worth
my trouble. I understand that all of the nationwide Target Stores
participate in the program. Very convenient.
