FWIW, if you want to actually see one, check out the move ID4. Near the beginning is a scene where Jeff Goldblum is in the car on his way to the White House. He pulls out his PowerBook XXXX (prototype 5300) and pops a mini CD into the drive. I'm curious... would this have been a regular CD-single size disk? If so, I would imagine that it would have been fairly useful.
