Aye!! Sorry all. I read through the whole thread without ever realizing my original mistake till we started discussing mice. Let me try this again...
I had a 520c powerbook but couldn't stand the keyboard as I do alot of word processing and found typing on the thing very frustrating. More recently I got a 1400c and absolutely love the feel of the keyboard on this model. Lately I've been thinking of an even better laptop to take over more and more of my computing needs. One that looked very attractive was a tangerine iBook. Seemed to have pretty much everything I'd want for a decent price. Never having used one, my biggest concern is the keyboard. So my original question was meant to be how do keyboards of the tangerine iBook model and similar compare to those of the 1400 and the 520? In a similar vein, I wonder if the G3 Lombard & Pismo have a rep of leaving imprints of the keys on the screen, as the Wallstreet is reputed to do? For general computing needs, keeping word processing esp in mind, would you perfer a tangerine/indigo/graphite era iBook, or a Lombard/Pismo of similar mhz? Sorry for all the confusion, & thanks again for your help. bill __ [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
