No its an older USB burner its USB 1.1. I use it on my Bondi and Blueberry iMacs they are both USB 1.1 besides it works as an external drive through the cardbus usb card already, I just can't get my version of Toast (4.2 Deluxe) to work with it and I didn't want to spend the money on a newer version if someone else had tried and no version of Toast will work at all. Though I am tossing around the idea of trying to put 10.1.5 on there and see if it will burn with OSX's native burning capabilities. I've heard that X is horrendous on a 3400 but figured I could deal with it long enough to burn a cd if necessary then reboot into 9.1.
