I use Eudora 1.4.3 on my PowerBook 170, and it works very well.   I have the
full 8MB of RAM, but I don't think that makes much of a difference with an
application as small as Eudora.

By the way, I think you might want to stick with 7.0.1 or 7.1 on the PB170.
System 7.5.3 takes up a lot more memory and disk space.  Just my opinion,
though...    :-)
