Hello. I have a PB 3400c With some dead pixels. I have a few questions
about them. How come they are there? Is there any way I can prevent
them? Can I get rid of them? Thanks for your help!

I dont know if this is urban legend or not, but you might be able to unfreeze them, by _gently_ rubbing the spot with a soft cloth.

Otherwise, there is nothing you can do to prevent or fix a dead pixel.
