Why? The Duo is certainly on topic for this list...

Nice site design!

Be prepared to be slapped by Apple for copyright infringement, though. Those commercials are Apple copyrighted material, and "PowerBook DUO" is a registered trademark, IIRC. You probably won't get to keep that domain for long.

LOL. We'll see what happens...

I got the commercials from theapplecollection.com by the way, only I edited them in Final Cut Pro to better suit my needs.

If you read the legal terms page I try and attempt to calm all parties involved. It is linked at the bottom.

I'm rather proud of my recreation of the PowerBookDUO logo. That was done by me eyeballing the end of the commercials.

What compressor did you use for the commercials? They don't play right on both of the Macs I've tried it on so far. I've got QT 5 on one and QT 6 on the other...

I think you need the latest version of QT6 to play them right. I exprted them in Final Cut Pro using quicktime conversion for DSL/Cable Medium Quality. I think its MPEG4.

It plays good on both my G4s running OSX so I'm assuming a simple update to QT6 will fix that, although I'm not so sure about Classic.

Peace, Drew
