Well, actually, I am this list's nanny, and I do read the list. Sometimes I'm just scanning through it, but I am here if you need me. > > Seriously, this list probably needs the least amount of shepherding > out of all the LEM lists. You're right about that; that's why list members hear from me so infrequently (unless you forget to trim the footers from your posts. :-) ) > > I _do_ remember in the past there being similar threads, and the > nannies/mom always stayed silent on the issue. LEM suffers from the > NIH syndrome as badly as any other "organization." As a nanny, I have no power to change the definition of the list; that would be up to Dan. > > FWIW, I think the Kanga ought to be part of this list, but I'm torn > on whether or not the Wallstreet should. I don't think I've ever given anyone a hard time about posting Kanga questions here, nor do I intend to do so in the future. The Wallstreet and other G3s are officially OT. However, under the "once-removed" rule, scattered questions about them are allowed. In practice, the older the powerbook, the less likely I am to object to a discussion of it here. It's when people post stuff about Pismos and up that may have little or no application to the official topic here that I speak up after a bit and say: there's another list for those.
