It's been so long since either of my trusty 1400s have even burped that I haven't been on the list for quite a while.
Wow. I am seeming to have the same luck with mine. I can't even say that I have even had a crash with either of my 'books. My B&W just the day before yesterday Kernel Panicked and won't operate correctly. I decided to "dust off" my 1400c (G3/250/64MB/2GB) and I am much happier being able to run 9.1 instead of trying to make Jaguar run. I am fairly new to this list, but have had one of my 1400s (cs/G3/233/60MB/6GB/OS 7.6.1) for a while and a little less than a year ago picked up the 1400c. Both work great, and seem to run better than the newer and "better" stuff. I have a PM5500/225 that also runs great (or at least would if I would quit stealing the hard drive out of it!), but anything newer I have (beiges, iMac/233 and B&W) seem to give me more trouble than I would like to deal with. I would like to eventually get a new PowerBook, but with the way I have been having trouble with OS X, I am not so sure I want to have something around that I am sure will give me a big headache. For now, I will leave all of my other Macs idle and just use something I can rely on and that is my trusty ol' 1400c (which BTW has a IIgs emulator on it too!).
