Thanks to all who offered advice, esp. Roger! Hard drive is in, only one
semi-broken tab got in the way. No I am trying to load 9.1 via a
bootable CD. Is this install interactive or does it just sit there with
the welcome to mac os screen, no pointer, and the CD drive making noise
every now and then? The CD doesn't appear to be thrashing, so I think
it's working away but I'm a windows guy and am used to some
interactivity. Is this how the install goes or is something wrong? The
new drive is 40 gigs so it would take a while to initialize/format but
it's been about an hour now. (tell me this is normal ok?) Thanks!
