I still have a Mac or 2 I haven't got around to renaming the HD of from
"Macintosh HD", but for the most part I like to name the principal boot
drive after the Mac's physical characteristics, also the Mac's network name;
other drives are functional like "Projects" or "Backup". Sometimes for the
Apple Code Names...an LC case Mac is "Elsie". I have a 7100 I call "Metal
Man", after the case, & I had an 8100 I called "Metal Monster"...A 6100 I
called "60s Guy", & a 7600-upgraded 7200 I called -- you guessed it: "70s
Guy" (I still have that hd, un-renamed, as a SCSI auxilliary in my beige G3
desktop.) My G3 is "Gee-Whiz" on the network, & my 6500 is "Olmec Baby", cuz
the front kinda looks like 1 of those mysterious jade figurines...

To get back on the list's topic, I had a Duo I called "Schizo" for a
while...
