I didn't quite pick up on the hardware in the beginning of the thread, but
if you don't have the full 64 MB real RAM in the 1400, it's going to be a
real pig. Even then, it's pretty slow; I run it on a 6500, which also has a
603e, & I have 128 MB. A G3 would help an awful lot, on both machines.
