The OP must have gotten one of eBay bobsbid's 5300-only chargers. He claims they work with LiIon batteries, but in my experience they do not work with LiIon batts, only with NiMH batts.
That said, I've been wondering what to do with the boxload of new VST 3400 chargers I have . . . the ones with both connection types which can charge NiMH and LiIon batts. I'm positive they charge 3400 batts, and semi-positive they charge the 3500 batts as well. Anyone interested in one or 10 or . . . more? Cheap!
Sorry for the sort-of-sales-pitch, just hadn't thought about them in awhile and this thread reminded me I really ought to make a VST-charger-boxload-sized hole in my storage area. If yer interested, contact me directly please!
