Trying to connect my PB520c 7.6.1 to my G4iMac running 10.2.8. I have an ethernet corssover cable I'm trying to use and use Appletalk to get into the iMac's drive to install and swap some software. I have Appletalk turned on for both machines, and I turned on file sharing on the iMac.

The iMac name shows up in the chooser of the 'Book, and I can try to connect to it, but an error message comes up that says the connection has been unexpectedly broken immediately. The 'Book doesn't show up in the iMac's network folder at all as far as I see. How do I set this up? Haven't ever networked Macs before...

There is an update to the AppleShare client software that you need to install. Check Apple for it.
