Absolutely. The only way to _positively_ fix it is to check the
conductivity of the screen's film wire (flat wire ?) with a voltmeter. That
is, each wire on the film. You might also check that the tiny prongs on the
board terminal are straight and the connection is well seated and locked in
tight by the little tabs on the sides of the mobo connector.
The above is from my own experience, me loving to take things apart!
John, I have to ask, Did you take your 'Book apart recently or did it suffer
