I have a PB1400/133/64MB that has OS 8.6 because it suits the PB best.
OS 9.1 would give me more choices in software but it's not worth
bogging down the PB to do it. And OS 8.6 is much more stable than OS
9xx is anyway. Higher numbers are not always better.

just my .02 worth.

Pretty much what I was saying. Use the OS that works best on the box.
The numbers game is just that. A game.
And I had to laugh at the earlier reference to someone trying to get their G5 to run System 6...but hey, that person is undoubtedly out there. Fortunately, they haven't found this little community. Yet.

Ron, I do beg to differ about 8.6 being more stable than 9.2.2.
But again, that's just my experience.
We probably place different work requirements on our boxes.
What's that saying? "Your mileage may vary".
