Has to be a 3400 or 3500 as these are PCI-based, whereas the 1400 is 
NuBus-based.

The DVD decoder card also expects the lower slot to support zoom video, 
which the 3400 and 3500 supposedly do, but the 1400 clearly does not do.

The 1400 CD media bay will accommocate a standard thinline DVD drive, but 
the 3400 and 3500 will not as these models have a completely proprietary 
drive mechanical design.
