i'll admit i've not got a PPC powerbook ~ just a lowly PB160 ( OS7.5) but my desktop is PPC7300 with G3 upgrade running OS9.1 , i've not long got my hands on a quicktake 100 ~ i tried the install floppy disks but the resulting works just gave me error messages ~ but found on the ftp.apple site in the developers section there was a complete archive ( 4.5 MB ) of bits for the camera lurking there , ( it even includes bits for those things the evil empire spawns ! )
for some reason apple don't have the install disks in the 'public' download area for older software but have it hidden forgotten round the back !. on my pb160 the quicktake can be mounted on the desktop with the control panel for it~ but on the 7300 all i can do is shift the pictures from camera to an HD folder . sorry i can't recall the FTP URL . ------- http://members.tripod.com/~petlibrary http://www.icpug.org.uk/national http://www.fortunecity.co.uk/skyscraper/perl/316 -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
