I have a couple of ZIP drives (USB and ZIP Plus) and considered
sneakernet to upgrade from 8.5 to 8.6 etc. and load wireless software
for my WaveLan Silver, using my G3 Pismo to download to the USB ZIP
With my ZIP plus connected any disk registers as a PC disk and all
files are shown as PC files. Even when the disk was made on the G3 -
so they won't load

What OS is the G3?
Remove the file extension on a duplicate copy of the file.
Can you reassign a program to open the file?
Can you find a program to convert the file if needed?
Stuffit should open archived files anyway, I believe
Is the disk formatted in Fat 32?
