Hi, 'Bookers.

Running OS 8.6 on a 1400 I have encountered a message that Disk First Aid cannot repair my HD due to "Invalid Node Structure, 4, 1656."

I've Googled the problem and Disk Warrior ($80 for each computer in the house!) is recommended. Also Norton. An archives search reveals no prior discussion of this problem in these lists.

My question, listers, is: Does anyone have a cheap workaround for this? or, alternately, is Disk Warrior a must-have app?

Thanks for your thoughts.

-Bill
