I currently have in the Extensions Folder, all turned on:
Open Tpt AppleTalk Library ver.1.1
Open Tpt Internet Library ver.1.1
Open Transport Guide Additions ver.1.3.1
Open Transport Library ver.1.1
OpenOT ver.1.0.1 (this one has a generic
icon, which if I remember correctly is not a good sign)
If I download the suggested software (AppleShare Client Version
3.7.4 and OpenTransport 1.1.2, and maybe 1.1.1) from Apple I have
to do this on my OS X machine.
How is the OS X system connected to the internet?
If you can network the two of them, what you have already will
suffice for getting to the internet; then download it directly to the
520. I did that to load some files on my 540, my OS X system
connected to the internet via my dial-up modem, I set up internet
sharing on the ethernet port; attached the 540 via ethernet and
downloaded via the OS X modem connection.
