Rips well, and with a wide variety of options (entire DVD, main program
only, Region change, etc).

But, getting it back on a playable DVD is the problem.

Not for this person; I believe he intends on playing them off of his hard drive.

Even features which are under 2 hours often produce more than 4.7 GB of
data.

You have to re-compress or split the data, and I thought MTR did that; I may be thinking of some other program, though.

I know I have a program that discussed this in the documentation, but if it's not Mac the Ripper, I can't remember what it is.
