Powerbook 1400 cs @ 117mhz, Mac os 7.5.3
32 mb physical ram
750 mb harddrive
After getting my powerbook to run a wireless internet connection I was a
little dissapointed to see how slow the web browsers run. I know this is not
related to my connection speed as when I download a file it just flies!
I have tried appropriate versions of Netscape, Internet Explorer and Icab
but it still crawls! I obviously dont expect this Powerbook to run as fast
as a modern Computer but a little more speed would be nice.
Has anyone got any suggestions?
Thanks
Martin Mackett
Upgrade your CPU to the 133 Mhz version. This should be very cheap on Ebay.
