Hey guys, first post. I have been working hard to get my old 1400c up to snuff. I've maxed out the mem, bought a wireless card for it, installed a fresh copy of 8.6. I'm to the last step before upgrading the cpu. The HDD! I know that i can boot 7.6.1 off of a sony mem stick and use if for virtual memory and internet cache but.... should i use it for everyday use. I think( and if someone could help with this part) that CF cards are faster than sony mem sticks. If so then i could use one of the 2gig cards to hold everything for me.
