Hey all...
I recently discovered a Powerbook 100 that my wife used when she was in college. When she last used it (well over 10 years ago!) she said that it was working fine. Currently, when I push what I think is the startup button I get a tone, I can see the light coming from the backlight on the screen but that is about it... nothing else. No happy mac face, no startup - not ever. I left it on thinking that it would warm the video card and would eventually start but no go.

Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?
I don't have any of the OS 6 or 7 system install floppys that I could use to work on it... nor do I have a manual showing me even what button is what! I think I am pushing the power button (on the left side) but not sure. I have tried both of them and nothing seems to work. One gives me a chime that lights the screen but it stays blank, the other gives me a longer tone and makes two orange lines show up on the screen... I am a big user of powerbooks - but I have only had G series pbooks so this is before my time... I would love to get this thing up and running.

Any help at all would be huge.
Best
Koby
