The policy arose because of Apple's habit of having the service manuals available on a website, freely available, until they decided that too many of us great unwashed were getting access to them. Publication of their (and others) website URLs would cause them to immediatley hide the material. The best way to deal with this is to do it privately. There should be NO banning of the question on the list, only of answering it. BTW, a list member kindly sent me a CD-ROM of these, and I would be glad to share it with people, if there is an easy way to do it. Paul Nelson --
