Oh, thinking of pc cards... I noticed when I eject my wireless or ethernet cards they are pretty hot. I am assuming this is normal. But is there anything I need to be concerned about here? Any strategies for cooling—like, maybe one of those pads with the risers on the back to allow circulation underneath the 'Book?
As far as I know, it's normal for a PC card to be a pretty warm when ejected after use. Of course, this is based on my experiences with PC notebooks, as well as with my old 190. I believe it's something to do with the design, or it could be that most notebooks have inadequate cooling of that area. However, from my limited experience, cooling under the 'Book won't do anything to help, because of how the PC card cage is designed. Again, this is based on my 190 and my old PC notebook, but I believe it should apply to the 2400, also.
